Chinese fried rice
For the rice, follow the instructions on the package. You may cook the rice in advance.
- 200 g basmati rice
- 3 slices of ham
- 1 small leek
- 3 egg-omelet
- Spring onions
- Nuoc Mam sauce
- Freshly ground pepper
- Step 1 Cut the ham in small square-shape, set aside. Fry the omelet with a bit of Nuoc Mam and thinly slice when cooked, set aside. Thinly slice the leek and sauté in a saucepan for about 3 to 4 minutes. Thinly slice the spring onions. Set all these ingredients aside.
- Step 2 When ready to serve, gently warm up the rice in a wok for about 4 minutes. Keep stirring while heating up. Then add the ingredients one by one. Keep stirring so the rice does not burn, adjust the seasoning to your taste, and serve immediately.
