This crispy appetizer is easy to prepare. Every bit is delicious, and addictive!
Suzanne’s shrimp toasts
Without butter, double cream and mayonnaise it will be lighter. Just add a bit more shallots and fresh herbs it will be as delicious !
- 1 French baguette sliced
- 1 greek yogurt
- 50 g sour cream (double cream)
- 25 g of mayonnaise
- a bit of wasabi
- 1 shallot
- 1 small roe jar
- a bit of butter
- a bunch of dill
- 12 cooked shelled shrimps
- Step 1 Slice the baguette. Warm up some butter in a pan and roast the baguette slices until golden, or use a toaster to avoid using butter. Set aside. In the meantime, mix the yogurt and the mayonnaise in a bowl, add the cream, the chopped shallot, a dash of wasabi, chopped dill and a pinch of pepper. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Chop a few shrimps and add them to the preparation store in the refrigerator if you make the toasts at a later time.
- Step 2 Right before serving: mix the preparation again, cover each toasted slice with it, add a piece of shrimp and top with roe. On top of the toast place a bit of dill for decoration.
