This healthy fresh fruit dessert has a high-vitamin content. Prepare it just before serving.
Strawberry, Mango & Blueberry Salad
Eat the fruits at room temperature or if stored in the fridge, bring the salad out 20 minutes before serving. Add the strawberries and the blueberries at the last minute otherwise the nice yellow colour of the mango will take a darker colour and the visual effect will not be as nice.
- 500 g strawberries
- 1 ripe mango
- 300 g blueberries
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- 1 lemon or lime
- A few mint leaves.
- Step 1 Cut the mango in small cubes. Put them in a salad bowl.
- Step 2 Rinse the blueberries in a strainer and drain them. Set aside.
- Step 3 Wash the strawberries in a strainer and when the water is drained, remove the stems. Leave the strawberries in the strainer until you are ready to serve dessert.
- Step 4 Add the blueberries and the strawberries to the mango at the last minute and very carefully mix the fruits together. A dash of lemon juice should be sufficient to bring out the full flavour, but if you feel it is necessary, you may also add some vanilla sugar. Add a few mint leaves and it is ready. Serve in individual cups or in a nice salad bowl.
