Steamed cod is a sure value as it is always delicious. For this recipe, I used a steam oven, but you also may cook in a bamboo steamer or wrapped in wax paper in your oven.
Combava steamed cod fish
The cooking directions are for steam oven baking
- 2 cod thick fillets
- 1 small combava lime
- Salt and ground pepper
- A few chilli bits or Espelette Chilli
- Step 1 Sprinkle salt and pepper on each side of the cod. Add the grated zest of half the combava and all the spices.
- Step 2 Place in the steam oven set on 80° for 20 minutes and serve immediately. Steamed potatoes are a good combination as a side dish.
