Benjamin's recipe is perfect but you can also let the carpaccio marinate for a few minutes for a more intensive taste or add sesame seeds and chilli flakes for the decoration before serving. It's also delicious as a meal with a bowl of rice and a salad.
Ingredients
- 4 TBS soy sauce
- 150 g carpaccio slices
- 200 g comté cheese
- 1 TBS honey
- 1 TBS sesame oil (optional)
- a few coriander leaves
- pepper
- wooden pics
Directions
- Step 1 In a small sauce pan, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, pepper (and coriander leaves). Soak the carpaccio in the sauce you just made. Meanwhile, cut some pieces of comte (emmental or cheddar works perfectly too). Each piece of cheese should be approximately the size of your pinky. When you are done cutting, put the cheese on the skewers. Take one slice of soaked carpaccio, and wrap it around the cheese already on the skewers.
- Step 2 Put the skewers on a hot pan and wait until the cheese begins to melt and every side of your meat is brown. Serve immediately.
