This recipe is terrific and is made in no time! Many thanks to my friend Benedicte, a great cook, and who had me discover this dish served with braised endives. It was amazing!

Maroilles is a French cheese made from cow milk and is a specialty cheese exclusively made in the Northern region of France. It is known to be the finest of all the strong French cheeses. Serve this dish with braised endives, blanched broccoli, or simply with rice.
Ingredients
- 400 g pork fillet
- 1 TBS oil
- 1 medium size minced onion
- 50 cl white wine
- 100 g of light single cream
- 100 g Maroilles cheese
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Directions
- Step 1 Cut the pork fillet in large bits. In a skillet, heat up the oil and fry the onion. Add the meat and cook for about 5 minutes stirring regularly. Add just a little bit of salt and the pepper, and let it cook for another 10 minutes with the lid on. Add the cream, the Maroilles cut in pieces, stir, and let it cook on low heat for a few extra minutes until the cheese has melted.
- Step 2 Stir and serve immediately with a side dish of your choice.
