That way they don\u2019t turn black. The peels and core will be set aside\u2026Once you reach the total weight of 1 kg, add sugar, mix thoroughly and let it soak a whole night in the fridge.<\/span>\n                <\/li>\n                                <li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/HowToStep\">\n                    <span class=\"step\">Step 2<\/span>\n                    <span itemprop=\"text\">On the next day : add the vanilla pot split open and start cooking slowly while stirring in the cooking pot along with the peels and the citrus seeds (if you have any) placed in a large tea ball. Test on the plate if the jam has thickened. It takes about 40 minutes\u2019 cooking time.
