Most of this recipe can be prepare in advance.<\/p>\n        <p class=\"recipe-author\">By: <span itemprop=\"author\">Chantal<\/span><\/p>\n        <div class=\"row\">\n                <div class=\"col-md-5\"><div class=\"recipe-ingredients\">\n          <h5>Ingredients<\/h5>\n          <ul>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">700 g (about 1\u00bd lb) monkfish, skin and central bone removed, cut into chunks<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">2 red onions<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">40 g (about 1\u00bd oz) grated fresh ginger<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 teaspoon chili flakes<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">300 g (about 10 oz) peeled and diced sweet potato<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">2 teaspoons ground cumin<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">3 teaspoons ground coriander<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">2 teaspoons turmeric<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 can (400 g \/ 14 oz) peeled tomatoes<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 can (400 ml \/ 14 oz) coconut milk<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">3 tablespoons olive oil2 garlic cloves, finely chopped<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Fleur de sel (or sea salt)<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">A generous pinch of cracked black pepper<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 lemon<\/li>\n                            <li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro<\/li>\n                        <\/ul>\n      <\/div><\/div>\n                  <div class=\"col-md-7\">\n        <div class=\"recipe-directions\">\n            <h5>Directions<\/h5>\n            <ul>\n                                <li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/HowToStep\">\n                    <span class=\"step\">Step 1<\/span>\n                    <span itemprop=\"text\">Saut\u00e9 the finely chopped onions and garlic in a large pot with a drizzle of olive oil.<\/span>\n                <\/li>\n                                <li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/HowToStep\">\n                    <span class=\"step\">Step 2<\/span>\n                    <span itemprop=\"text\">Add salt, pepper, chili flakes, and grated ginger, stirring until lightly golden. Add the sweet potato pieces along with all the spices, salt, and pepper, then reduce the heat. Stir well \u2014 the mixture should not brown. Next, add the tomatoes followed by the coconut milk. Let simmer gently until the sweet potatoes are tender. Check seasoning, then set aside while you prepare the rice.<\/span>\n                <\/li>\n                                <li itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/HowToStep\">\n                    <span class=\"step\">Step 3<\/span>\n                    <span itemprop=\"text\">A few minutes before serving, reheat the curry. Season the monkfish pieces lightly with salt and pepper, then add them to the pot. The cooking time is short \u2014 about 5 minutes over medium heat once it begins to simmer again. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
